The majority of photographs on this web site originated on transparency film, most of them on 120 film in the 6 x 7 format. They are full frame exposures, with very little cropping, that have been scanned and manipulated digitally in order to restore and enhance colorations that may have been lost in the digital transfer, or to accentuate elements already in the photograph. None of these manipulations are outside the range of the capabilities of a traditional chemically based dark room printer. No foreign objects or elements have been created or introduced into the photographs that did not exist at the time of the original exposures.
